"Uh, Doctor? I have a question," I called, staring through the doors. A frigid wind was blowing into the TARDIS, but that wasn't why I was suddenly shivering.
"Yes? What is it," he asked.
"Are there supposed to be Abominable Snowmen at the North Pole?"
"What?" Perplexed, he jogged in my direction. "Of course not! They're usually found in the Himalayoooh, dear," he murmured, staggering at the sight.
A large, hairy, apelike mass was standing just outside. It was coated in fur, except for its rather furious-looking face. There was a disturbing growling noise emanating from its general direction. I only hoped that it was the wind, but I had my doubts. Mainly because we seemed to have landed in its home cave.
"Hello," the Doctor cheerfully said, putting on his most winning smile. "Sorry that we popped in on you like this. We'll just pop right back out again. Here," he added, digging into his coat pocket. "Have a candy cane."
Suddenly befuddled, the Abominable Snowman took the minty treat and started sniffing at it. That was all I saw, as the Doctor immediately slammed the TARDIS doors shut and made a mad dash to the console.
"Bit of a mistake," he stated around a nervous grin as he worked the controls. "Next stop, the North Pole. I hope," I heard him add under his breath.
